[X-Unix] CVS question

Follow up:
	Is there any way to set how long CVS waits for a command to  
finnish?  I'm on Sat. internet at home and the latency my be what is  
tripping it up [even through it worked fine till just lately].  That  
is the only difference I can see with cut/paste verses the script.
