[X4U] software for cross-platform backup

Hi,

I'm looking for some easy-to-use software that will do automated 
backups over the network from a variety of different platforms (Linux, 
OS X, and Irix) to an OS X machine with big Firewire disks.  I realize 
that I could probably accomplish this using some clever mixture of cron 
and rsync; but I'd prefer to be lazy and use a nice package with a GUI 
that won't make my head hurt.  Any suggestions welcome.
