To set up the demo of ReadIRIS, I followed their instructions, and  
copied the scanner plug-in from the Photoshop (Elements) folder to the  
Library folder. Starting up the program, the scanner was immediately  
available. Clicking "Acquire" brings up the scanner driver, which  
neatly puts multiple scans in the OCR window in the background. No  
hassle at all.
