Try www.dealmac.com. Deals are updated daily.

I have both a Samsung SATA and a Hitachi IDE, I've heard good things about those companies and personally have had no problems. But these days, most hard drives are all pretty durable and some carry 3 year or more warranties. I know that the Samsung does at least.

Check out www.newegg.com, I tend to buy most of my stuff because they have great prices, excellent shipping (saver shipping only takes 3 days from CA to the northeast), and a pretty good return policy.

Hi folks,

In the market for a new internal IDE hard drive for my G4 400 tower, either
80 or 100 GB. I know that nowadays drives that size can be found pretty
cheaply -- does anyone know where the best deals can be found?

Also, any recommendations on one brand name over another? I used to be a big
fan of Western Digital drives, until one just started dying on me after 2
years :(

Any info or advice would be great.
