This meant that TCP/IP is running fine on your Mac. Can you tell me 
what IP address your NIC has been assigned?

You can view this using Network Utility (in Jaguar, Under the Info 
tab). It should be under 'Ethernet Interface (en0)'.

Information needed would be:

1) IP Address(es)
2) Link Speed
3) Link Status
4) Vendor
5) Model
