If you mean that you don't rebuild OS X's desktop, then you're correct;
however, you can rebuild Classic's desktop using OS
X->SystemPrefs->Classic->Advanced->Rebuild Desktop-that's the Panther
sequence, I don't remember if that's the same with Jaguar (stopped using it
over a year ago).
