Take a look at OmniGroup's OmniDiskSweeper. It's free if you just like 
to check out what files take the big bytes out of your HD space. If you 
want to clean up from within the app you need to register. It's a great 
one trick pony, has not been updated in along time, but it still does 
the job nicely.
