You know that if the roles were reversed (Microsoft's search function could
not find Apple's browser) everyone would be saying that Microsoft did it on
purpose. Of course, maybe they'd be right...

Where did you end up manually finding Internet Explorer? Isn't it in your
Applications folder? There are some folders that Spotlight doesn't look in,
but that's not one of them.
