[X4U] Finder Crashes

Hello everyone a quick question that someone might have an idea how  
to fix.

I have the finder that crashes and restarts if i click on the finder  
menu up top or if i try to control click on a file, it even crashes  
if i use the gear menu. permissions have been repaired also i tried  
installing the 10.4.2 combo update again to see if that would correct  
the problem
