that's good to know…

my idea was the following: the first time i plan to back up my hd to  
external drive via usb2 (around 50gb) then do the incremental back- 
ups via ethernet.
i see 2 advantages: i can back up my girlfriend's and my laptop  
without physically connecting/disconnecting, and the drive can stay  
tucked away on a shelf somewhere.

i'm just worried about the security issues…
