Since you updated what?  I'm running Mac O/S X 10.3.6 and WMP 9.0, on a
Quicksilver G4/733 with 1.1gigs of ram.  The 733 lacks the L2 cache, but the
800 doesn't.  Maybe that's enough to make a difference.
