 From what I've been able to gather on apple.com, Pages does support 
HTML as an export format, but none of its templates--which are getting 
a lot of emphasis in presentation of the product--seem to be for web 
pages. Doesn't sound like it will be the right tool for slapping 
together a quick web page.

I also haven't found any indication that it will be scriptable. That 
will be a big disappointment if it's not.
