LOL. Idiot?  No way. His decision will make lots of money for Intuit.

As do most people. And I too screw up on rebates. I often lose 50 - 100 dollars every month through late submittals etc. Yet I continue to buy with them in mind.

If we'd all get smarter and submit out rebates, then they'd go away as a promotion tool. Else they will be here for a long time to come.
