Not really. Try doing it again with Activity Monitor open so you can  
see CPU usage. I may be wrong, but I'm thinking the CPU may not even  
be the limiting factor -it could be something as mundane as how fast  
info can be served up from the hard drive.

The other factor is this type of test is one that really doesn't  
sound like it hits the PPC's strongest feature compared to the Intel  
offerings -floating point operations.

Still interesting to see.
