[X4U] widgets

I'm a little frustrated with widgets. The problem is that when I hit  
the hot key to get to widgets I have to wait several seconds for the  
various widgets to become active. Some need to query the internet,  
but even autonomous widgets like calculator take forever to become  
active. It's almost faster for me to call up full programs using  
LaunchBar. Does anyone else experience this?
