[X4U] PCI or PCI-X Slots - which is better?

PCI-X

They shouldn't be able to accept 5V cards, but 3.3V ones will most likely
work.

I think most are still PCI except for high-end disk interface cards (SCSI
and Fibrechannel typically) and maybe ethernet.  Most audio cards now will
work in the PCI-X slots (though you'd likely have to replace an existing
card, I know I would).

The real question when looking at the dual G5's is what else have they cut
back.  I know on the previous revision (which I think would be the second
version), they were running the processor bus at 1/3 the speed of the CPU
rather than 1/2, so the 1.8Ghz system was actually slower than the original
1.8Ghz models.  I've not looked at the spec's of the existing lineup so I'm
not sure if this is still the case.
