[X4U] OT: accessing old floppy disks

Thanks for all the help. We have successfully retreaved the data. My 
university department tech guy drudged up an old Power Computing clone, 
we managed to find a compatible keyboard and monitor, and we sat my 
wife's collegue down to copy his data. He had about a dozen 800k disks 
that he used with his old SE. Copied data to hard drive and then back 
onto 1.4 meg floppies. His current Mac has an external floppy drive 
that takes 1.4 meg disks.

Problem solved.
