I was just in the process of doing some "house cleaning" - getting rid of a lot of demo apps and stuff that I never ended up using, and had occasion to use Activity Monitor to quit a couple of daemons so that I could empty the Trash. I noticed that there's something called VShieldCheck running as root that's being reported as using over 90% of my CPU! Anyone know what this is? And if it's normal to be using up that much CPU?
