After upgrading to Tiger, I tried out Mail again (I use Entourage) and found
that it does respond to page up and page down, but only in the message
display area. It would not page up and page down in the message list area. I
will not be switching from Entourage.

I agree. QuickTime 7 is practically useless on my 600MHz G3 compared to
QuickTime 6 Pro. Listing it as one of Tiger's features is misleading, since
it's available for Panther and (soon) Windows.
