Actually, what I do, and which is fairly effortless, is from within  
Mail for Tiger,

File - Import Mailboxes -
there is an button, Import from Entourage -
and just let it run.

It imports your selection of all or some of your folders from your  
Entourage folders and stores them in a new folder called Import.
