Its probably for an i/ o controller chip or something like that. Personally, I don't believe it (as far as CPUs go). Simply because it would require all customers to buy new machines, new OS, and all new versions of ALL their software...it'd kill Apple. Plus, Apple would lose the control over the whole widget that they enjoy now, which is part of what ensures that stuff 'just works'. Dan Tepper
