mathematical doubletalk, as any multiplication can be accomplished  
thru dividing by a reciprocal.

if you want to describe a fraction in words, "3/5" could be phrased  
as "3 of 5"  IOW, the whole thing has  5 equal pieces, and we're  
taking, or having, or measuring 3 OF the 5.
