There is no standard (none anyone is aware of, anyway) that calculator
makers and software writers have as to how that % key performs. Until
there is a standard, if you use more than one calculator, it may be
wiser to avoid that key. Since math is based on logic, the logic in your
above example ought to prevail and become the standard.
