Kingston DOES sell RAM that they qualify for the Mac and RAM that they DON'T
qualify for the Mac, and the latter (their "Value RAM") is cheaper. That's
what crashed my PowerBook repetitively. A new SODIMM (Samsung, from OWC, and
supposedly identical to what Apple sells for 4 times the price, but still
more expensive than the Kingston Value RAM) is now chugging away, happily
trying to make my minimally acceptable PowerBook run Aperture.
