Although the extra ports, the newer graphics cards, and the dual-layer DVD
writers are nice, application performance doesn't really sound that much
improved compared to the first generation dual G5s. Many things are said to
be twice as fast as a dual processor mirrored-doors G4, if I read Apple's
website correctly.

But I may need one to run Aperture!
