Thanks. But I verified the connection setup over and over again: SSL  
is checked, ports are correct.

I would definitely expect no connection.

But strange thing that very rarely it works.

As for my own suspicion of a "POP-requests-per-time" limit: I would  
assume then that after waking from sleep it should work. But that is  
not reliably the case. So my own last idea I came up with is out of  
the game.

Any other thoughts?
