They are supposed to go into the qualifications of the people who answer
their questionnaires on TVs, computers, cars, cameras, refrigerators,
etc., etc.? Not going to happen.

That's why you shouldn't base major decisions solely on their surveys.
Maybe you can get some clues on problems and do your own digging after that.
