I have a maxtor external hard drive which keeps going to sleep by itself, despite my having put both sleep sliders to "never" AND un- checked "Put the hard disc(s) to sleep when possible." is there something else I can do, or does the hard drive have it's own sleep mechanism at work? can that be turned off? thanks! nk
