[X4U] Using Dashboard with multiple monitors

Is there any way to keep widgets active on one of my two monitors (with
other applications opening their windows on my main monitor?

Although Windows Vista is being knocked as a cheap copy of things already
mature in the Mac user interface, apparently the "gadgets" of one's choice
stay active if one has the appropriate screen real estate, which I now do.
