If you have and use Excel by all means take the time to create your own. It's easier than you think and as you use it you will be able to personalize it.

My Excel workbook has grown to over 10 worksheets and it sets up all of the data I need for US income tax so it's all ready when that time comes each year. It also can calculate conditional balances based on matching a date cleared with a balance reported on a specific date. I can enter payments forecast but not yet paid and calculate future balances. But that's overkill. If there's interest I could be persuaded to make a template out of it.

With Google doing a spreadsheet it might make sense to do it there. Well. . . Perhaps one shouldn't expose his personal finances to the likes of Google's compilers.
