There's a way to modify Finder's Find function to change the search criteria.
If you're interested, I'll send it to you off list.

No. Just an incomplete implementation of the process. Where've you been?
There's been much traffic on this problem for over a year. To get a handle on
it, go to <http://www.macworld.com/search/index.php> and confine your search to
Features and May 05-May06 and give yourself a read.

No. But it also has excluded many areas for searching. See the hint at
