[X4U] How stable is 10.4.8?

Only anecdotal evidence, Mark.

I had 10.4.7 and downloaded 10.4.8 Combo Update (PPC).
I installed it *over* the previous system without any hitches.
The best recommendation is, I can't tell any difference between them.
So, I benefit from whatever changes they've made smoothly and seamlessly.
