[X4U] 10.4.9 update reliable?

[SE]

I run a 2.1 GHz iMac with 2.5 GB RAM. Now that I have upgraded to 
10.4.9, my Acrobat professional seems to crash a lot. Acrobat 7 is part 
of Adobe Creative Suite 2 and yes, all updates have been applied to the 
Adobe software. I am considering going back to 10.4.7.
