iMac Intel, OS 10.4.9:
I've attempted to install CAPSWarn (current version i.e. 3.1), 
deeming it to be a life-safer.

No good:
'Preferences Error'
'You cannot open CAPS Warn preferences pane on this computer. Contact 
the developer of this software for a newer version.'

I mailed the developer at jplw at theWoodwards.us: no answer.

Anyone who can shed light will render a service to mankind, or to me anyway.
