the tempo ATA133 pci costs slightly more than the computer itself,
chf 125.- (roughly €80) here is swizterland.

but i'm wondering: am i better off buying a more recent machine that
doesn't have this limitation, or should i be looking for a completely
different solution to creating a file server? btw, i'm looking for
flexibility.

thanks for the suggestions so far…
