Just wanted to point out that Microsoft no longer supports wmv on the  
Mac (at least not directly). The "official" way to play wmv files is  
to download the Quicktime plugin from Flip4Mac at <http:// 
www.flip4mac.com/wmv_download.htm> .

I also agree that VLC is good to have around for anything that  
doesn't seem to want to play anywhere else.
