Have you already tried the built-in help for switchers?  Open Mac Help (from
the finder toolbar), then click on "Switching from Windows."  There are
topics such as: 

    Mac OS X desktop
    Where are my applications?
    What's it called on my Mac?
    Keyboard shortcuts

If you haven't already gone through this, I highly recommend it - even if
she's not switching from Windows.
