Yes, but if you have continued to use your computer since trashing the files it is quite possible that they have already been overwritten and have become unrecoverable. Any one of these programs should work: Data Rescue II http://lookleap.com/prosofteng.com/a1 Stellar Phoenix Macintosh http://www.macintosh-data-recovery.com FileSalvage http://www.subrosasoft.com VirtualLab http://www.binarybiz.com/vlab/mac.html Boomerang http://www.boomdrs.com/macosx/ Media Recover http://www.allume.com/mac/mediarecover/ To work, file recovery program has to be programmed (by its developer, not by the end-user) to recognize the file type you are trying to recover. Make sure that the product that you purchase can recover any file types that you have lost for non-common application types. There are some free UNIX utilities that must be used from the command line that may work. Photorec can recover deleted .jpg & .mov files. It's also capable of recovering some other types of deleted files. http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/PhotoRec testdisk http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDisk ___________________________________________ Randy B.
