[X4U] Hosting on Dot Mac

I've already got the domain . . .it's been hosted on a server at my
house for awhile but I am looking to move it elsewhere since my
upstream bandwidth is limited. I'm just trying to find out if you
really need iWeb 08 to use the personal domain or if one can just go
through the Dot Mac preference and DNS adjustments required and then
build your site with whatever tool you like and upload it to the
'correct' folder name on the iDisk. I don't want to go to
homepage.mac.com/username . . . I want to go to domainname.com. The
DNS setup just points domainname.com to homepage.mac.com . . .I'm
guessing the rest is just internal Dot Mac housekeeping and that
manual build/upload will work fine.

I haven't been able to verify that; so I will probably just end up
trying it out to see.
