Hm, your post had 1368 characters, not counting the commands used to  
create and send the e-mail.

What if you had applied those keystrokes to press return in the cache- 
clearing dialog?

Just a thought.

Generally I find little value in cleaning the cache frequently. Every  
now and then, maybe, yes, as a housekeeping. I would not recommend to  
run without any cache at all.
