You know that'd be approx 4.5-4.9Hrs per disc. On a DVD-5 disc (4.3GB) The bitrate will be pretty low and therefore quality pretty shabby. But I guess it depends on the quality of the AVI files in the first place - if they are pretty bad then no one will notice a difference.
