[X4U] Endless Reboot Cycle

This morning I powered up my new MB Core2Duo. I got the usual silver
screen/grey apple and spinning thing below that, but nothing else
happens and it eventually reboots then does the same thing,
repeatedly. Only thing I know how to do was reset the PRAM but that
didn't fix it. Anyone have any ideas? The system is 10.5.1 with VMWare
Fusion installed.
