[X4U] Does ARD 2.2 run on Intel Macs?

Hey ho,

I've upgraded from G4 Laptop to Intel MacBook Pro and I can't get ARD 2.2 
to go past the login screen.

Error is "The ARD software failed to start due to an unexpected error."

Is it incompatible with Intel Macs or is there something I need to do to 
get it working again. It is a fresh install on top of a new OS 10.4.10
