[X4U] Mail problem

Murray,

this happens to me a lot with aol and aim, plus a local net.

The fix I use is to log off mail, log onto the web mail site(s) using  
my browser, log off, and then shutdown the mac for about a minute.  
(Restart is not as reliable as a shutdown)

Then, all is forgiven...

Lately when I open Mail, I get the pop up window to enter my password
for my account. I don't know why this is happening. I've downloaded
lots of email without this happening.
