Could you clarify this, Paul? I have Perian installed and have had 
for a long time. YouTube movies show up and play just fine. But I 
find no "Watch" button in the Perian pref pane, and otherwise have no 
idea how to follow what you are suggesting as a way to save the video 
to the computer.

Could you detail exactly what you do to use Perian to download a YouTube video?
