The displays in question are also of an inferior type to the 24" model 
and to earlier generations of iMac.  And while the eye may not be able 
to see an unlimited number of colors, it's important to have that 
available, in the case of something like greenscreening in video. very 
important to have that color depth and to be able to see what you're 
doing for making those selections accurately.
