There is and we posted it up at <http://forums.bombich.com/viewtopic.php?t=8501>; however, it's not supported by Apple and requires mucking with the machine's open firmware settings (nvram settings), which the hint at <http://www.macosxhints.com/article.php?story=20061017084322177> discusses. It's not recommended for the causual user and FireWire 400 is 40-50% faster than USB 2, so why bother?
