[X4U] Creation/Modified date of Mail attachments

   Nope, In Word it still shows the time I saved the attachment. as  
   Created and Modified. However it does show Feb 5th as last time it  
   was printed. Anyone know why the Created/Modified time is lost in an  
   e-mail attachment?

These properties are part of the file system, not the file itself.

When a file is attached to a mail message, there are no standard ways
to carry this extra information along.

The above notwithstanding, it's not clear that these properties should
be carried along: to the file system, they are, in fact, different
files and each should have their own creation/modification dates.
