[X4U] 380 or 0380 in find

My wife had rearranged her HD containing her photos.  Some photos  
stood between all her folders.  To control if there where duplicates,  
I did a search.  I searched for a picture containing 380 in the name.   
I could see the image.  None turned up in the find.  I had to search  
for 0380 and then it turned out that there was indeed only 1 photo.
Why could I not find 380 and did find 0380?  Is there a wildcard  
character in the find?
