[X4U] MAIL APP Question

Sometimes my Mail loses connection.  Then I open the sys prefs and  
select Network where I click the Advanced button and then Renew DHCP  
Lease.
I do that a few times, quit Mail, open Mail and I've connection.   
Sometimes I even don't have to quit Mail.
